Kailen was selected to join the National Junior Honor Society at her school. She was very excited! Her induction ceremony included a dinner at Kam and Parker's high school which was prepared and served by the Culinary Arts Club at the school. John and Parker really hit the jackpot when the shrimp appetizers were served because they're the only ones in our family who like shrimp. As they finished a plate we'd pass them another one and take the empty one -- we didn't want it to look like they were actually eating all the shrimp! :o)
Here's Kailen taking her NJHS pledge. She looks sooooo grown up. (Notice the straightened hair. It takes almost forever to straighten her hair, but she sure does like it!)
