Wonderful Weekend

We had an awesome weekend! It started by Parker making the Freshmen Basketball Team at our high school. He's been literally dreaming of this since last year, so we were all really excited! Then, Friday night John and I went to "Time Out for Couples" with 6 other couples from our ward. It was great and the music and speakers were awesome. I forgot to take my camera.....

Then Saturday morning the girls and I left really early to go to "Time Out for Women and Girls". Again, we had awesome music and great speakers.

We had a great time at TOFW&G and it was great to be there with my girls. With Kam going off to college next year, I know these opportunities of us doing things together are becoming more rare, which makes them even sweeter.

Kam and I left half way through the program because she was running in the Arizona State High School Cross Country Championships. We met John and Parker at the meet. We were so thankful she was able to run because she suffered an injury in the Powder Puff Football Game and it kept her from running for almost a month. She had a great finishing time at the state meet, better than last year, and finished without any pain from her injury.

This was our sixth year in a row having a Kelley run at the state meet, and we expect Parker will carry on the tradition next year. He came so close to being able to run at this meet.......and Kailen is already talking about continuing the tradition when she goes to high school, too.
