BYU-Idaho Education Week 2008

I took two friends to Education Week with me this year - Suzanne (right) and Patty (left). They were Education Week rookies, which was fun!

We flew to Salt Lake City on Wednesday, stopped at the Church Distribution Center (of course!), and then headed to Rexburg. The flight from Phoenix to Salt Lake City was 1 1/2 hours, the drive to Rexburg was 4 hours! Wednesday night we went to the new Rexburg Temple with Janine and Byron (who we were staying with) and my mom and dad. The temple was beautiful!

Hannah (my niece), 4 1/2 years old and a very fun girl!
Riley (my nephew), almost 5 1/2 and starts kindergarten this month. I don't think his mom's quite ready for that....
The whole family: Riley, Janine, Hannah and Byron.
We loved staying with them and the food was wonderful!

BYU-Idaho is building a new conference center. It will seat 15,000 people when it's finished. I thought Zach would like these pictures, since it was a huge hole in the ground when he left in April 2007.

We had a wonderful time attending awesome classes, enjoying the beautiful weather (not too hot, not too cold), and spending time with my family. It was a great get-away! :o)
